Growing Asian Vegetables on the Central Coast of California
This workshop will cover the basics of cultivating different varieties of Asian vegetables in the cool summers of the Bay Areas coastline. We will explore concepts like succession planting for year round greens, climate control techniques for growing hot season vegetables, pest management challenges, and dry farming techniques.

Instructor: Scott Chang-Fleeman is a vegetable farmer in West Marin county and a 2017/2018 AEH alum. His farm, Shao Shan Farm, produces certified organic Asian vegetables on 5.5 acres for farmers market, CSA, and Asian American owned restaurants and grocers in the Bay Area.
